Cell Phone Accessories Help Increase Reception on the Go

Traveling for my business, I spend a lot of time in my car. Running a small business on my own can be hectic. I am constantly on my cell phone with clients as I go from jobsite to jobsite. Since I am in the construction business there are many times that I find myself in rural areas building houses. As I travel from site to site there are many times that I cannot get cell phone service or it is very limited.

Believe me, it is no fun walking around with your cell phone up in the air trying to get a signal to call a client. What I needed was something to help me get a better cell phone signal on the go. So, I ordered a cell phone booster to add to my business cell phone.

The cell phone booster was one of the most important to cell phone accessories that I had to have from this site. I knew by having this piece of cell phone equipment was essential for running my construction business smoothly. It was easy to install on my phone and made a huge improvement on my cell phone reception not only in the car, it also gave me better reception on the jobsite.

No longer would I have to walk around on a jobsite looking for a spot where I could get a signal. Now I can go to some of the most remote locations in the area that are known for having limited or almost no cell phone signal at all, and get a strong signal. The best part is that I can now travel from site to site without worrying about missing a phone call from my clients due to dead zones.

Since I have purchased the cell phone booster for my cell phone, I no longer have signal problems on the job. I now plan to buy more cell phone accessories such as the cell phone booster for my employee’s work phones too. By using this product I can keep my small construction business running smoothly on the go.

Cell Phone Accessories Make Great Gifts

My son was getting ready to move away to go to college this fall. He applied to colleges all spring and was hoping he would get into a to college in Tennessee. After weeks of waiting he finally got his acceptance letter to the college of his choice in Tennessee. My husband and I were so excited for him, but as a mother does I was worried about him moving several states away.

I decided to get my son a new cell phone for when he goes away to college. The only thing I was worried about was him being able to get good reception in the hills of Tennessee. So I got him a cell phone booster to go with his new phone. I knew with having a cell phone booster he would be able to get better reception when driving through the mountains.

Before when we had been to the college to tour the campus, we had a hard time getting service outside of the city. The phone calls would drop in the middle of a conversation or the reception would go in and out as we would drive through the mountains. This was very annoying, especially when we were trying to call my husband to tell him about the campus. I knew then that my son had to have a cell phone booster just to be able to get good reception when traveling through the mountains.

Since buying a cell phone booster for my son, I have now purchased two more for my husband and I. This comes in handy when we are visiting him at college. It was also easy to install on our phones and there was no special tools needed. The best part is that is was also inexpensive and made a big difference in my own cell phone reception when I travel.

Since my son has moved several states away from home to attend college, I know that he is able to get better cell phone reception since having one of these great cell phone accessories. Now, my son can call no matter were he is.

The Big Cell Phone and Accessory Glossary

Cell phones have come a long, long, LONG way since the earliest brick-style handsets that were even larger than a home cordless phone and used only by politicians and tradesmen. That explosion of options in regards to cell phone accessories and technology inclusions means that there is a lot to keep up with! If you’re thinking about buying a new phone, or have recently bought one and are looking to deck it out with cell phone accessories and are feeling overwhelmed at all the foreign-sounding words and acronyms, you need to check out our multi-part cell phone glossary. We aren't working in any particular order (so you won’t need to wait 2 months to find out what a word beginning with 'W' means, for example!).
A/b Switch: These switches allow to move between different carriers on the same telephone, taking advantage of different call rates and specials periods.
Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the capacity of a telephone or telecommunications line to carry signals. Greater bandwidth equals more capacity, which means that more data can be sent in a fixed time period.
Call restriction: This is not really a new technology, but not many people use it to its full extent. Call restrictions can be placed on your cell phone, which mean you might bar all outgoing calls, outgoing international calls, or outgoing multimedia messages.
Clone: Hopefully you never personally find out what this cell phone term means - it refers to using a wireless phone with duplicated stolen electronic identification numbers. People would use clone to make phone calls etc on somebody else's account.
Electromagnetic radiation: There has been much talk about whether cell phones and cell phone accessories emit harmful levels of types of electromagnetic radiation. Currently, even the longest term studies have found no ill effects directly attributable to cell phone use.
General Packet Radio Service (GPRS): This data transmission technique sends and receives data in packets, rather than setting up a constant connection. GPRS can achieve short-term data transfer rates much higher than the standard current GSM network.
